Why Diversity Matters
to Your Bottomline -
Why Diversity Matters to Your Bottomline
The business case for diversity is as strong as it’s ever been and in McKinsey’s most recent report, companies in the top quartile for gender diversity were 25 percent more likely to have above-average profitability and companies in the top quartile for ethnic diversity were 36 percent more likely to have above-average profitability. To say diversity is good for business would be an understatement. But for us, it’s not just about the financial gain!
But this talk is not about the business case for diversity, it’s about helping leaders understand how to create environments of inclusion where employees feel engaged and like they belong! Creating a culture where individuals feel valued and respected takes effort, energy, and a commitment from the senior most leaders in your company. But what exactly do leaders need to say and do to make employees feel valued?
